On December 15, 2021, the first largest and heaviest module 1TMP005 and 1TMR005 of the Arctic LNG2 Project undertaken by BOMESC Offshore Engineering Company Limited was shipped to the Arctic Pole successfully. The two modules are the most important modules in GBS1, responsible for the power supply to the whole GBS and the supply of public gas in all kinds.
Module 1TMP-005 is the sub-module of Russia Arctic Project in 60 meters long, 38 meters wide, 57 meters high, and 8,418 tons of roll-on-roll-off capacity, which was shipped to Russia for installation and assembly after its delivery. The module is mainly composed of nitrogen making machine, air compressor and other main equipment, realizing the nitrogen supply to GBS and the function of instrument gas.
Module 1TMR-005 is the largest and heaviest sub-module of Russia Arctic Project in 60 meters long, 44 meters wide, 57 meters high, and 15,147 tons of roll-on-roll-off capacity, which was shipped to Russia for installation and assembly after its delivery. The module is mainly composed of 4 large-scale diesel generators and the equipment and facilities controlling the substation, realizing the power supply to all powered equipment of GBS and the function of protection.
The delivery of these two large-scale modules marks BOMESC’s achievement of a major leap from the design and construction of small and medium-sized module products to the design and construction of high-end module products in million tons. It is an important milestone point in the development of the enterprise's module business.
